The Odoo Functional Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Peshawar. The consultant will gather and analyze business requirements, map them to relevant Odoo modules, and configure workflows to enhance finance, accounting, sales, and operational processes. This position involves conducting system demonstrations, leading user training sessions, and providing ongoing functional support to ensure successful adoption of the Odoo platform. Daily responsibilities include documenting specifications, coordinating with technical teams for customizations, testing new features, and maintaining clear communication with clients. The consultant will also prepare reports and documentation while continuously improving implemented solutions based on user feedback and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business processes and gather detailed requirements to design effective Odoo-based solutions.
- Map business needs to appropriate Odoo modules and configure workflows to support finance, accounting, sales, inventory, and operations.
- Conduct system demonstrations and lead training sessions to facilitate user adoption.
- Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth system operation.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to coordinate customizations and enhancements.
- Test new features and configurations before deployment to ensure quality and functionality.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and user manuals.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and improve implemented solutions based on feedback and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business needs, interpret data, and design ERP solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, workshop facilitation, and documentation preparation.
- Solid understanding of business processes related to finance, accounting, sales, inventory, and operations within an ERP environment.
- Experience in consulting, client management, or solution implementation, preferably with Odoo or similar ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of finance principles and basic accounting concepts to effectively configure finance-related modules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Peshawar, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a structured manner.
- Familiarity with the software implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and support.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Previous experience working specifically with Odoo or other ERP solutions.
- Relevant certifications related to Odoo or ERP implementation are considered an advantage.
