OFC Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of Optical Fiber Cable networks, ensuring all activities meet technical standards and safety protocols.
- Plan and coordinate daily field operations, assign tasks to teams, and monitor progress to ensure project timelines are met.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve issues, manage resources efficiently, and provide regular status updates.
- Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of installations and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to project activities, work progress, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Provide hands-on support during network outages or performance issues, assisting in fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Mentor and coach field staff to enhance their skills and ensure consistent adherence to service level commitments.

Required Qualifications
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, including the ability to delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide effective coaching.
- Solid technical knowledge of optical fiber cable networks, including installation standards, splicing, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Proficient in planning and organizational tasks such as scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
- Relevant experience in telecom or network infrastructure supervision, particularly in OFC projects, is highly advantageous.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred. Familiarity with safety and compliance standards is essential.
