OFC Supervisor

Wavecomm, a dynamic telecommunications and networking solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) Supervisor to join its team in Lahore. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of Optical Fiber Cable networks, ensuring all activities comply with technical standards and safety protocols.
- Plan and coordinate daily field operations, including task assignment, resource management, and scheduling to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Monitor work progress on-site, conduct inspections to verify quality of installations, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve operational issues, manage resources effectively, and provide timely status updates.
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to network outages or performance problems, offering hands-on assistance when necessary.
- Mentor and guide field staff, fostering a team environment that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure service level commitments are consistently met by maintaining high standards of work quality and safety compliance.

Required Qualifications
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills, including the ability to delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide coaching.
- Strong technical knowledge of optical fiber cable networks, including installation standards, splicing, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with experience in scheduling, resource coordination, and managing documentation.
- Effective communication skills and stakeholder management experience to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
- Relevant experience in telecom or network infrastructure supervision, preferably with a focus on OFC projects.
