MCB Bank Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Officer for its Import & Bank Guarantees division, based in Multan. This role is ideal for candidates with up to one year of trade-related experience who hold a postgraduate degree or equivalent (BBA/MBA) with 16 years of education. The position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in trade finance within a reputable banking institution, with the grade level assigned as OG-3 or OG-2 depending on the candidate’s experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process import transactions ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle the issuance and management of bank guarantees, maintaining accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external clients to facilitate smooth trade operations.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessment related to trade finance activities.
- Support the team in maintaining records and preparing reports related to import and bank guarantee portfolios.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and addressing client queries related to import and guarantee services.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, BBA, or equivalent) with 16 years of education.
- Up to one year of relevant experience in trade finance or related banking operations.
- Strong understanding of import procedures and bank guarantee mechanisms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
