The Officer Inventory Control & Audit plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient stock management. This position involves conducting regular inventory counts, performing audits, and coordinating with various departments to resolve discrepancies. The officer will also be responsible for preparing detailed reports and supporting efforts to minimize inventory shrinkage through effective monitoring and control.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain stock accuracy.
- Manage ordering and stock replenishment processes to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Perform shelf audits regularly to verify product availability and accuracy on the sales floor.
- Enter and update stock corrections promptly in the inventory management system.
- Monitor weekend promotions, track shortages, and maintain comprehensive assessment records.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Suppliers to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed analysis reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for management review.
- Compile and share monthly internal consumption reports with the Head Office to support business decisions.
- Conduct inventory analysis using ABC classification techniques to prioritize stock management efforts.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audit requirements.
- Assist the Line Manager in minimizing shrinkage by implementing effective monitoring and control measures.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager to support inventory control functions.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Intermediate or Graduate degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in inventory control and audit management. Experience in Retail or FMCG sectors is considered an advantage.

- Experience within Retail or FMCG industries is a plus, providing valuable insight into fast-moving inventory environments.
- Competitive monthly salary starting from Rs 50,000.00.
- This is an in-person role requiring presence at the designated work location.
