Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited, a multi-business organization operating across four campuses with a workforce of over 500 employees, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Officer Reporting. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all business units. The Officer Reporting will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and accounting records, preparing comprehensive financial information, and supporting management in making informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, including financial due diligence, division-wise capital expenditure summaries, and reconciliations to support key management decisions.
- Compile interim and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards.
- Manage the overall chart of accounts, oversee the opening and closing of accounting periods, and coordinate monthly closing activities.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses using key ratios, investigate significant variances, and provide management commentary comparing actual performance with prior years and budgeted figures.
- Prepare budgeted balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Develop, compile, and maintain various budgets such as operating expenditures, sales, materials, production, cash flow, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets.
- Generate internal management reports to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Maintain thorough records of each step in the monthly closing process.
- Coordinate with process owners to resolve issues and ensure timely preparation and completion of management reports.
- Collaborate with finance personnel to ensure timely periodic financial closing and preparation of both management and statutory financial statements.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors during audit processes.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA Finalist or CMA Finalist.
- Experience ranging from fresh graduates to one year in a relevant financial or accounting role.
- Maximum age limit of 30 years.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
