The role involves performing operation and maintenance (O&M) services for wind turbine generators (WTG) according to the project schedule and company standards. This includes troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues, conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, retrofitting, inspections, and providing detailed operation reports to both customers and the company. The position requires proactive communication with customers about service updates and repairs, as well as managing warehouse inventory for materials, tools, and spare parts. Compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards is essential, along with participation in related departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute O&M services for WTGs in line with project timelines and company specifications.
- Implement operation and maintenance tasks efficiently to ensure continuous project progress.
- Respond promptly to technical issues, including troubleshooting and component replacement for electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
- Complete defect elimination tasks to maintain turbine reliability.
- Analyze wind turbine operational data to monitor performance and identify potential issues.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding completed services and upcoming maintenance or repairs.
- Conduct pre-Commercial Operation Date (pre-COD) activities such as checklist reviews and manual verifications.
- Perform post-COD inspections and address non-scheduled maintenance needs.
- Oversee on-site inspections of installation companies to ensure compliance with standards.
- Manage warehouse operations, including ordering and tracking materials, tools, and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative duties.
- Adhere strictly to company HSE policies, identify and report hazards, and participate in HSE initiatives organized by the department and company.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
