Online Information Technology Tutor

Students are carefully matched with subject specialists based on curriculum, grade level, learning objectives, time zone, and availability. The platform supports major curricula including Cambridge/IGCSE, GCSE, AS & A Levels, IB, AP, American K–12, Canadian, Australian, and Scottish programs, along with standardized test preparation. The managed tutoring model ensures thorough tutor screening, focused lesson planning, academic coordination, progress monitoring, and regular updates for parents, with all lessons delivered online through flexible international scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-to-one live online lessons focused on Information Technology and Computer Science topics aligned with international school curricula and exam requirements. Prepare targeted lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, clearly explain complex concepts, and guide learners through exercises and projects. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different ages, skill levels, and learning goals. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with academic coordinators to ensure consistent learning outcomes. Manage scheduling across multiple time zones efficiently. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant curricula and digital tools to enhance lesson quality. Document lesson outcomes and provide recommendations for learners and their guardians to track progress and areas for development.

Required Qualifications
Strong expertise in Information Technology, Computer Science, and associated digital tools and platforms. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably within online or blended learning environments. Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners. Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE, GCSE, IB, AP, and American K–12, including relevant IT and Computer Science syllabi. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to plan structured lessons, personalize instruction, and confidently use online education platforms and collaboration tools. Reliable internet connection and suitable hardware for video-based tutoring. Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
