Key Responsibilities
The Online Math Tutor will deliver individualized and small-group tutoring sessions to students across various grade levels and curricula. Responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging lessons, clearly explaining mathematical concepts, guiding problem-solving processes, and supporting homework and exam preparation. The tutor will regularly assess student progress, offer constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles and comprehension levels. Maintaining professional communication with students and the tutoring center is essential, along with keeping detailed records of sessions. Collaboration with fellow tutors to enhance learning materials and instructional approaches is also expected. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Pakistan, operating from Ibatutoring’s center while conducting sessions online.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong foundation in mathematics, capable of teaching core topics at both school and college levels with clarity and accuracy. Experience or demonstrated ability in tutoring, teaching, or academic support—especially in math-related roles—is necessary. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical, including the ability to simplify complex ideas and build rapport with learners. Tutors should exhibit patience, empathy, and a learner-centered approach, committed to inclusivity and supporting students from diverse educational backgrounds. Basic digital literacy is required, with comfort using online teaching platforms, document sharing tools, and virtual whiteboards. Strong organizational skills for planning lessons, tracking progress, and managing time across multiple learners are essential.
