We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shopify, E-Commerce, and Social Media Executive to join a family-run handmade carpet business based in Karachi. This is a full-time remote position requiring availability during UK evening hours. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and managing the company’s online presence through Shopify and social media platforms, helping to drive sales and brand awareness in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage the Shopify store, including creating product, collection, home, and about pages.
- Configure essential payment gateways and shipping options to ensure smooth customer transactions.
- Upload and organize product listings with accurate descriptions and visuals.
- Edit photos and videos to enhance product presentation using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, PhotoRoom, or similar software.
- Develop, create, and schedule engaging social media content to promote products and brand identity.
- Monitor store performance regularly, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Shopify store management and e-commerce operations.
- Strong knowledge of website setup and maintenance within the Shopify platform.
- Proven ability to create compelling social media content tailored to target audiences.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, PhotoRoom, or equivalents.
- Excellent written English skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection and consistent availability during UK evening hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in product photography to enhance online listings.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes and apps to customize and optimize the store’s functionality.
- Competitive salary range of 60,000 to 100,000 PKR, commensurate with experience and skills.
