Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of visual and other data from onshore and offshore infrastructure to identify and annotate mechanical, structural, hydraulic features, faults, and defects.
- Apply client-specific and industry-standard condition assessment and asset integrity frameworks.
- Create photogrammetric 3D models and perform metrology analysis for precise measurement of parts and equipment.
- Conduct basic quality assurance on your work and that of colleagues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare detailed engineering inspection and condition assessment reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Materials, Industrial, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within a related sector.
- Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement and agile mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with interpreting engineering schematics, drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and process diagrams.
- Experience using CAD models related to piping, structures, or engineering components.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new software and emerging technologies.
- Technical report writing experience.
- Understanding of data analytics principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and G-Suite applications.
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated adaptability to new software tools.
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks and/or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Recap and working with point cloud data.
- Exposure to Linux operating systems.
- Experience in manual data annotation.
- Experience working with or as part of remote teams.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and draw engineering conclusions.
- Knowledge of API, NACE, ASCE, and ASME inspection and coating standards.
