Operations Manager (AI-enabled)

Primal Storm, a fast-growing direct-to-consumer company focused on natural health products, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with strong AI and automation skills. Since launching, the company has rapidly scaled to over $1 million in monthly revenue, aiming to reach $5 million by the end of the year. This fully remote, full-time contractor role requires 48 hours per week, with at least six hours overlapping Central European Time (CET/CEST). The Operations Manager will take full ownership of supply chain management, inventory control, finance operations, compliance, reporting, and day-to-day administrative tasks, playing a critical role in streamlining processes and supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-driven workflows using Claude Code to automate repetitive tasks across finance, supply chain, and administrative functions.
- Manage inventory planning, coordinate manufacturer orders, oversee warehouse operations, and track shipments to ensure smooth supply chain execution.
- Lead finance operations including account reconciliations, profit and loss reporting, invoice verification, payment processing, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining up-to-date certificates, registrations, and insurance policies, and managing renewals.
- Generate and review operational reports, verify the accuracy of automated outputs, and proactively address any discrepancies or issues.
- Handle daily operational tasks such as resolving order issues, managing software subscriptions, updating Shopify, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead and support the operations and finance team by setting priorities, monitoring results, and collaborating closely on execution.
- Document processes thoroughly and track time savings to improve accuracy and reduce manual workload.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, finance operations, or ecommerce, with a strong aptitude for systems thinking.
- Demonstrated practical experience using AI tools daily, including a tangible example of automation or workflow improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including the ability to reconcile data from multiple sources.
- Willingness and ability to learn technical tools such as Claude Code, APIs, and complex formulas; training will be provided.
- Strong sense of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in English.
- Comfortable leading a small team while remaining actively involved in hands-on operational tasks.
- Availability to work full-time (48 hours per week) with at least six hours overlapping CET/CEST time zones.
