Operations Specialist

Glow is a fast-growing digital insurance startup focused on empowering U.S.-based small business owners by providing the right coverage at the best price every year. Having recently secured $22M in Series A funding, Glow is expanding its operations in Pakistan. The company is seeking an Operations Specialist to join its Lahore-based team, working onsite on a U.S. schedule. This role involves supporting various data-driven projects such as generating insurance quotes and onboarding new customers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and CRM software. This position offers hands-on experience, direct mentorship from experienced leaders, and significant growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance applications, renewals, cancellations, and premium payments efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct fact-finding activities to generate and follow up on insurance quotations and endorsements.
- Maintain and update client records in the company database with precision.
- Communicate with customers and insurance carriers via calls to gather information, answer queries, and ensure timely processing.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist in internal and external audits and compliance checks to support regulatory adherence.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in documentation and company records promptly.
- Handle customer queries and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Support the preparation of operational reports and analytics for management review.
- Take ownership of operations projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Follow established processes to deliver consistent and reliable results.
- Consistently meet or exceed project goals and performance metrics.
- Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks and objectives within deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, yet capable of working independently.
- Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with a strong process focus.
- Ability to perform well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Willingness to work night shifts (8 PM–5 AM Pakistan time / 8 AM–5 PM PST).
- Based in Lahore and able to work onsite at the company’s office.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and operational procedures is a plus.
- Previous experience in insurance operations or a similar role is advantageous.
- Experience working in a startup environment is beneficial.
