Operator

We are seeking a skilled Operator to efficiently operate and maintain PET Blowing Machines while strictly adhering to established operational procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production processes, maintain quality standards, and support maintenance activities to keep the machinery in optimal condition. This role requires attention to detail, timely handling of abnormalities, and collaboration with various departments to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform smooth and efficient blowing operations at the rated speed while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain daily checklists, conduct online inspections, and accurately log all activities related to the blowing machine.
- Operate filler equipment in cases where a block filler is present, following the responsibilities outlined for filler operators.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any abnormalities during the operation.
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures for the blowing machine and its accessories.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of raw materials used in the blowing process.
- Minimize raw material wastage, keeping it below defined target levels.
- Follow instructions from qualified operators, line foremen, and senior staff.
- Perform quick changeovers on machines to accommodate different flavors or packaging requirements.
- Carry out machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance to maintain good working conditions.
- Provide timely information regarding spare parts requirements.
- Support and facilitate other departments in achieving their operational goals.
- Complete assignments as directed by senior personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (D.A.E) in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Relevant work experience ranging from 1 to 3 years operating similar machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree will be given preference.
