As a member of the Operations Excellence team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and implementing process improvement initiatives across all logistics operations, including First Mile, Sortation, Line Haul, and Last Mile. Your focus will be on identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity to foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position involves conducting audits, analyzing data, performing quality checks, delivering training programs, and applying quality management practices to elevate logistics performance throughout Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies within logistics processes and eliminate waste through strategic planning and process optimization efforts.

- Lean Management Practices: Promote and integrate Lean principles into daily logistics operations to drive efficiency and standardization.

- Continuous Improvement Projects: Support and lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing cost per order, and enhancing the customer experience.

- Root Cause Analysis & Countermeasures: Conduct thorough root cause analyses for operational challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.

- Quality Management Tools: Utilize quality methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen to maintain and improve operational standards.

- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams across First Mile, Sortation, Line Haul, Last Mile, and supporting functions to ensure seamless integration and operational visibility.

- Training & Development: Assist in training staff across various departments on operational excellence practices and quality standards to build capability.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and report key logistics KPIs through dashboards and performance tracking tools to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Quality Audits: Conduct SOP and quality audits at logistics sites, communicate findings to leadership, and follow up on corrective actions.

- Cost Optimization & Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to initiatives that reduce logistics costs while improving the end-customer experience.

- Nationwide Audits: Participate in scheduled operational audits at logistics hubs and facilities across Pakistan to ensure compliance with company standards.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a reputable institution. A background in data analysis is preferred.

- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in process improvement, logistics operations, or performance management.

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics functions. Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is desirable, with certification considered a plus. Experience with data tools such as Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing is advantageous.
