Oracle Application Consultant

The Oracle Application Consultant role at TechFlex is a full-time, on-site position based in Karāchi. This role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Applications to align with business needs. The consultant will gather and analyze user requirements, design effective solutions, and work closely with stakeholders to improve business processes. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining Oracle Reports, troubleshooting system issues, conducting system testing, and documenting configurations and workflows accurately. The consultant will also advise business teams on best practices, coordinate with technical teams, provide end-user training, and ensure smooth operation of Oracle HR and other related modules in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Applications to meet business requirements.
- Gather and analyze user needs, design solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes.
- Develop, design, and maintain custom and standard Oracle Reports.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform thorough system testing.
- Document system configurations, workflows, and processes accurately.
- Provide guidance to business teams on Oracle best practices and application usage.
- Coordinate with technical resources to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Deliver end-user training and support to enhance adoption and efficiency.
- Ensure Oracle HR and other modules operate effectively and align with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Strong consulting skills with experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Applications, including configuration, support, and integration with business systems.
- Proficiency in Oracle Reports design, development, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and the ability to translate workflows into system configurations.
- Experience with Oracle HR modules and related HR business processes such as employee data management and HR workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Karāchi and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and general database concepts is advantageous.
- Previous experience in Oracle consulting or enterprise application implementation roles is a plus.
