Oracle Developer

Dekalb Trade Voice is looking for a skilled Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications tailored for the textile, leather, and garment manufacturing industries. The role focuses on leveraging Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and ORDS technologies to enhance business efficiency and operational control. The developer will work closely with management, functional users, and external consultants to ensure successful ERP implementation and continuous improvements while safeguarding data accuracy and security. This position involves full lifecycle development across multiple ERP modules, including Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Production Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and specialized manufacturing systems. Strong technical expertise in Oracle APEX development, database optimization, API integration, and troubleshooting is essential. Although this role does not involve team management, it requires a solid understanding of how technology can streamline workflows and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain efficient, user-friendly ERP applications using Oracle APEX.
- Create forms, interactive grids, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows aligned with business requirements.
- Develop reusable application components and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Maintain and enhance PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application functionality.
- Work with Oracle Database 19c or newer, optimizing database design, indexing, and query performance.
- Write efficient SQL queries and assist with database administration tasks such as backup, restoration, and security patching in coordination with administrators.
- Support database version upgrades, performance tuning, and ensure application compatibility with database changes.
- Implement enhancements based on detailed Business Requirement Documents and Functional Requirement Specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, application errors, and performance issues promptly.
- Support development, integration, and maintenance of core ERP modules including CRM, SCM, Production Management, HRM, Payroll, Accounts Management, and industry-specific systems like Leather and Sewing Machines Management.
- Ensure database integrity, transaction processing, and security across ERP modules, facilitating smooth inter-module integration.
- Develop integrations with external systems such as WhatsApp and AI engines using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Document development activities, maintain version-controlled deployment scripts, and produce technical documentation to support maintenance and audits.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Oracle APEX application development and Oracle Database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Experience with Oracle Database 19c or newer versions.
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and database optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and database issues effectively.
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP API integration.
- Understanding of ERP systems and business process workflows within manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

- Equivalent demonstrable professional experience may be considered.
- Competitive salary range from Rs40,000 to Rs150,000 per month.
- Work location: On-site.
