Oracle Developer

Dekalb Trade Voice is seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications specifically tailored for textile, leather, and garment manufacturing industries. The role involves working extensively with Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and ORDS technologies to improve business efficiency and operational control. The developer will collaborate closely with management, functional users, and external consultants to ensure successful ERP implementation, ongoing enhancements, and data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain user-friendly ERP applications using Oracle APEX.
- Create interactive forms, grids, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows aligned with business needs.
- Develop reusable application components and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Maintain and enhance PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support ERP functionality.
- Work with Oracle Database 19c or newer, optimizing database design, indexing, and query performance.
- Write efficient SQL queries and assist with database administration tasks such as backup, restoration, and security patching in coordination with DBAs.
- Support database version upgrades, performance tuning, and ensure application compatibility with database changes.
- Implement system enhancements based on detailed Business Requirement Documents and Functional Requirement Specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, application errors, and performance issues promptly.
- Support development, integration, and maintenance of core ERP modules including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Production Management, Human Resources Management (HRM), Payroll, Accounts Management, and specialized manufacturing systems like Leather and Sewing Machines Management.
- Ensure data integrity, transaction processing accuracy, and security across ERP modules while facilitating seamless inter-module integration.
- Develop integrations with external systems such as WhatsApp and AI engines using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Document development activities thoroughly, maintain version-controlled deployment scripts, and produce technical documentation to support maintenance and audits.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong technical expertise in Oracle APEX application development, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle Database management.
- Experience with REST and SOAP API integration.
- Ability to understand and optimize business workflows through technology.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting and performance tuning within ERP environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Oracle APEX development training or certification.
- Oracle Database SQL/PLSQL training or certification.
- Certifications related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or database technologies.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Competitive salary range from Rs40,000 to Rs150,000 per month.
- Work location is on-site, providing direct collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
