Oracle FLEXCUBE Functional Support Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking Support Specialist to provide day-to-day operational support and configuration for the FLEXCUBE platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FLEXCUBE parameterization, product setup, and a strong understanding of core banking operations. This role involves close collaboration with business users, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth functioning of banking applications, timely resolution of issues, and support for regulatory and enhancement activities. The position requires working on-site to effectively manage production environments and participate in critical banking processes such as End of Day and Beginning of Day batch activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide daily support for Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Perform parameterization and configuration of FLEXCUBE products, including banking products, customer accounts, interest rules, charges, fees, limits, and accounting entries.
- Analyze and resolve production issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Support critical batch processes such as End of Day (EOD), Beginning of Day (BOD), and other periodic batch activities.
- Conduct impact analysis and testing for any configuration changes to minimize risks.
- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and technical resources to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage change requests, system enhancements, and ensure compliance with regulatory updates.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and maintain comprehensive support documentation.
- Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with production deployments.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience supporting Oracle FLEXCUBE On-Premise environments.
- Strong expertise in FLEXCUBE parameterization and product configuration.
- Solid understanding of core banking operations and banking products.
- Experience in incident and problem management within a production environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to support production banking systems and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Oracle FLEXCUBE certification is highly desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with key banking modules such as CASA, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, Customer Information File (CIF), General Ledger, and Teller Operations is preferred.
- This role requires working on-site to ensure effective collaboration and support.
