Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire order lifecycle for all Nysonian brand platforms within the Canadian market, ensuring seamless order processing, returns management, and shipping cost control.
- Oversee daily validation and processing of Canadian e-commerce orders, maintaining accuracy in pricing, taxes (GST/HST/PST), inventory allocation, and order status within OMS and ERP systems.
- Handle post-purchase order modifications, including backorders and pre-orders, while coordinating updates with Customer Support to maintain real-time data accuracy.
- Lead the full returns process from authorization to resolution, ensuring compliance with Canadian policies and accurate inventory disposition in collaboration with 3PL partners.
- Monitor outbound shipments and manage relationships with carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx, resolving delivery exceptions, WISMO inquiries, and proof-of-delivery requirements.
- Initiate and manage carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments, ensuring timely resolution and accurate tracking of claim outcomes.
- Conduct freight audits by reviewing and reconciling shipping invoices, identifying discrepancies, maintaining rate trackers, and supporting carrier performance and cost optimization efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison with 3PL warehouse partners to ensure SLA adherence, inventory accuracy, operational alignment, and resolution of any performance or billing issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer operations with hands-on responsibility for order management, returns, and shipping workflows, preferably within the Canadian market.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian carrier networks (Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, FedEx) and cross-border shipping requirements, including duties and de minimis thresholds.
- Understanding of Canadian tax structures (GST/HST/PST) as they apply to e-commerce transactions.
- Proficiency with order management systems (OMS), Shopify, and ERP/WMS platforms to manage order and inventory workflows.
- Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation, reporting, and operational data analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail in invoice auditing and data accuracy, paired with strong communication skills for managing relationships with external partners and internal teams.
