We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and career-driven Accountant to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with UK-based clients and a strong understanding of UK accounting and taxation, preferably gained within a UK-based accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of UK charity accounts.
Bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records for UK clients.
Preparation of UK Self Assessment Tax Returns.
Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment (MTD ITSA).
Ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant UK accounting and tax requirements.
Working with UK accounting and tax software to complete client assignments efficiently.
Supporting the team in meeting client deadlines and maintaining high-quality work standards.

Requirements

1–2 years of relevant experience in UK accountancy.
Previous experience working in a UK-based accountancy practice is essential.
Practical experience in preparing UK charity accounts.
Good understanding of bookkeeping, Self Assessment Tax Returns, and MTD Income Tax.
Familiarity with UK accounting and tax software.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
