INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a skilled PI System Engineer to join our innovative team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting Industrial Digitalization Solutions across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in PI System development, administration, integration, and Asset Framework modeling. Key Responsibilities
- Support PI System administration and integration with various business applications.
- Configure PI Asset Framework (AF), Event Frames, Notifications, and related components according to plant hierarchy.
- Monitor and maintain PI System security, including patch deployment and overall system health.
- Optimize PI System performance, conduct monitoring, upgrades, and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop plant models within the Enterprise PI System using PI AF structures.
- Create and deploy reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics leveraging PI System technologies.
- Develop, test, integrate, and deploy analytics, dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Provide support for PI Data Historian and associated modules such as PI AF, PI Web Services, PI-SDK, AF-SDK, PI Notifications, Event Frames, and PI Vision.
- Document network configurations, processes, procedures, and system activities.
- Collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders to support PI System requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PI System development, integration, deployment, and administration, including Asset Framework modeling.
- Proven hands-on experience with PI System administration, troubleshooting, security implementation, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with PI Data Historian and related modules such as PI AF, PI Web Services, PI-SDK, AF-SDK, PI Notifications, Event Frames, and PI Vision.
- OSIsoft PI certification is required; accreditation is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with PI Integrator technologies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructure and environment deployments such as Hyper-V or VMware is preferred.
- Understanding of networks, protocols, infrastructure, and carrier-grade network topologies.
- Familiarity with OT and IT processes, especially in Process or Oil & Gas plants.
