The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to responding to the world’s most severe crises. Since its founding in 1933, the IRC has worked in over 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities to help people affected by conflict and disaster rebuild their lives. By restoring health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and empowerment, IRC employees create lasting impact and hope for millions. Protection Monitoring:
Document emerging protection risks, concerns, and service gaps using approved tools. Share relevant trends with supervisors while maintaining confidentiality. Support protection assessments, community consultations, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), and other monitoring activities as required.

Coordination and Support:
Collaborate closely with Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS)/Hub Center Facilitators, Protection/GBV Case Workers, MHPSS staff, and other relevant teams. Support community-level activities and strengthen linkages to services. Participate actively in training, team meetings, and capacity-building initiatives.

Documentation and Reporting:

Safety, Safeguarding, and Ethical Standards:
Uphold principles of Do No Harm, confidentiality, informed consent, dignity, respect, and nondiscrimination. Maintain professional boundaries with community members and service users. Comply with IRC’s safeguarding policies, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), child safeguarding, code of conduct, and data protection requirements.
