The Owner role is a full-time, on-site leadership position based at Descon’s headquarters in Lahore. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction across the engineering, power, and chemical business units to ensure sustained growth, profitability, and adherence to Descon’s high safety and quality standards. The Owner will oversee executive leadership teams, approve significant investments, guide market expansion efforts, and monitor operational performance across various regions. This position requires close collaboration with senior management on matters of corporate governance, risk management, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities. Additionally, the Owner will play a key role in fostering a positive organizational culture, driving talent development, and championing innovation initiatives that enhance Descon’s global competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction across multiple business units, including engineering, power, and chemical sectors.
- Oversee executive management teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals and operational excellence.
- Approve major capital investments and evaluate business opportunities to support long-term growth.
- Lead efforts to expand market presence regionally and internationally.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on corporate governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams across diverse geographies.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance within the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive experience in senior leadership or ownership roles within engineering, industrial services, energy, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, business development, and financial management of diversified business portfolios.
- Proven track record in corporate governance, risk management, and adherence to international safety and quality standards.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across clients, partners, regulators, and multicultural teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams effectively, with strong communication and decision-making capabilities.
- Relevant advanced academic qualifications such as a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments is highly desirable.
- History of driving operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth within complex organizations.
