Packaging Designer – Structural Packaging & 3D Visualization

Envex Tech Solutions is looking for a talented Packaging Designer with expertise in structural packaging, dieline creation, 3D visualization, and preparing print-ready artwork. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of packaging engineering and print production processes, enabling them to convert product specifications into functional, attractive, and production-ready packaging designs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in OPF, Lahore, suitable for professionals with over three years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop precise packaging dielines and accurately calculate flat/open dimensions according to product specifications.
- Design a wide range of packaging styles such as folding cartons, tuck-end boxes, mailer boxes, rigid boxes, drawer boxes, sleeves, and premium PR packaging.
- Create high-quality 3D mockups and realistic packaging visualizations using custom dielines and exact measurements.
- Design custom packaging inserts using materials like cardboard, corrugated board, EVA, and foam.
- Prepare print-ready files utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Apply correct bleed, color settings, Pantone shades, typography, and finishing specifications including foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and spot UV.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of packaging materials, printing methods, folding, gluing, and finishing techniques.
- Collaborate closely with production teams and vendors to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
- Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, incorporate revisions efficiently, and deliver accurate work within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in packaging design is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural packaging design and dieline development.
- Strong skills in creating 3D mockups and packaging visualizations.
- Practical knowledge of packaging substrates, printing techniques, and production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and creative thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict project deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing previous packaging design and structural packaging projects is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical assessment to evaluate their ability to develop packaging dielines, calculate open dimensions, and create accurate 3D mockups.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs37,000 to Rs80,000, depending on experience and skill level. This role requires working on-site at the company’s Lahore location.
