Packaging Designer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop packaging concepts and dielines from initial brief through to final artwork, ensuring designs are visually appealing, functional, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Create packaging layouts, select appropriate materials and finishes, and collaborate closely with branding and marketing teams.
- Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with print technicians to review proofs, troubleshoot design or production issues, and refine artwork for color accuracy and structural integrity.
- Maintain design assets and manage multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to continuous improvements in packaging quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in packaging design and product design for consumer-facing goods and retail packaging.
- Proven ability in branding and graphic design to develop cohesive, on-brand visual systems.
- Proficiency in typography and layout, with a keen eye for hierarchy, legibility, and aesthetics.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, including experience creating dielines and print-ready files.
- Understanding of print processes, materials, finishing techniques, and basic structural packaging principles.
- Ability to interpret client briefs, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a portfolio showcasing relevant packaging and graphic design work.
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
