Packaging Designer

Brandsface, a leading custom packaging company based in Nazimabad No. 2, Karachi, specializes in premium packaging solutions across various categories such as folding cartons, rigid boxes, paper bags, labels, stickers, and tags. We are seeking a talented and creative Packaging Designer to join our team on a part-time, flexible daytime schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of packaging structures, graphic design principles, and commercial printing processes, enabling them to develop innovative packaging concepts and produce technically accurate, print-ready files.

Key Responsibilities
- Design packaging for folding cartons, bleached card boxes, rigid boxes (fancy boxes), paper bags, stickers, labels, and tags.
- Develop creative artwork, layouts, and packaging concepts tailored to client requirements.
- Prepare precise, print-ready files suitable for commercial production.
- Create and modify packaging die lines and structural layouts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare artwork for printing, including managing CMYK and Pantone colors, bleed, margins, and finishing specifications.
- Understand and prepare files for specialized printing techniques such as foil stamping, embossing, debossing, Spot UV, and printing blocks.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical standards.
- Revise and update designs based on client feedback and production constraints.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in packaging and graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of preparing print-ready files.
- Practical understanding of packaging die lines and structural layouts.
- Familiarity with printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of offset printing, digital printing, lamination, foiling, and embossing methods.
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
