Our US-based partner, a leading ecommerce advertising agency, is seeking a full-time Paid Media Specialist to join their remote team. This role focuses primarily on managing Meta Ads, with additional responsibilities involving Google Ads and TikTok campaigns. The successful candidate will oversee established ecommerce accounts, driving campaign performance, identifying growth opportunities, and helping brands scale profitably through paid media. Candidates should have at least three years of hands-on paid media experience, strong ecommerce knowledge, and the ability to quickly assess and optimize existing accounts with minimal supervision. Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of ecommerce advertising accounts across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok, with a primary focus on Meta.
- Audit client accounts to evaluate historical performance, campaign structure, tracking, audiences, and creative effectiveness.
- Develop tailored paid media strategies aligned with client products, target customers, commercial goals, and budgets.
- Build, launch, manage, and continuously optimize paid advertising campaigns.
- Identify inefficiencies, wasted spend, and opportunities to improve revenue, acquisition costs, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Monitor and manage campaign budgets and pacing to stay within agreed spend limits.
- Reallocate budgets across campaigns, audiences, products, and platforms based on performance data.
- Conduct regular account health checks and respond proactively to significant changes in key metrics such as spend, conversions, CPA, and ROAS.
- Execute structured testing across audiences, offers, campaign structures, and landing pages.
- Analyze performance across the entire ecommerce funnel, considering product price points, buying cycles, customer intent, and behavior.
- Stay updated on platform changes, new features, and best practices.

- Collaborate with the in-house creative team by analyzing creative performance, identifying effective hooks and messaging, recognizing creative fatigue, and recommending new concepts.
- Develop hypotheses for creative tests and translate advertising data into actionable creative briefs.
- Evaluate new creative assets and integrate insights into future campaigns, understanding the close connection between creative strategy and media buying.

- Independently manage and troubleshoot tracking setups, including Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API (CAPI), Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
- Test and validate event firing and conversion accuracy before scaling campaigns.
- Diagnose discrepancies between advertising platforms, analytics, and ecommerce sales data.
- Ensure accurate conversion measurement is in place before significant ad spend.

- Evaluate ecommerce performance using meaningful KPIs such as ROAS, CPA/CAC, revenue, conversion rate, and purchase volume.
- Look beyond vanity metrics to assess commercial success.
- Identify when poor ad performance may stem from website, offer, product, pricing, or conversion issues.
- Analyze the relationship between prospecting and retargeting efforts.
- Understand attribution limitations and avoid decisions based solely on single platform metrics.
- Design structured A/B tests and scale successful campaigns while maintaining sustainable acquisition economics.

- Prepare comprehensive monthly paid media reports, validate data, investigate anomalies, and provide clear commentary on performance, trends, risks, and next steps.
- Communicate campaign results effectively during client calls and internal meetings.
- Collaborate confidently with internal stakeholders and gradually participate in client-facing discussions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on paid media experience, preferably within a digital advertising or performance marketing agency.
- Proven experience managing ecommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising accounts with budgets exceeding $2,000.

- Self-motivated with the confidence to make proactive recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
