We are seeking a motivated and commercially savvy Partnerships & Growth Manager to join our team in Lahore. This full-time role focuses on scaling a mobile-first service in Pakistan by driving partnerships, growth initiatives, and commercial problem-solving. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, structures complex challenges, collaborates effectively with partners, leverages data for decision-making, and executes projects independently. You will engage closely with senior stakeholders, manage multiple workstreams, run experiments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships & External Relationships
- Manage key partner workstreams including preparation for meetings, setting agendas, follow-ups, action tracking, and ensuring delivery.
- Support the design and implementation of partner pilots and joint initiatives such as co-branded services, campaigns, and distribution partnerships.
- Bring clarity and structure to commercial discussions by tracking decisions and documenting terms and learnings.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners through clear communication and data-driven recommendations.
Commercial Thinking & Unit Economics
- Develop simple financial models to analyze unit economics, including cost drivers, partner exposure, cost per active user, retention impact, and ROI.
- Assess monetization and sustainability options such as revenue sharing, subscriptions, pricing strategies, and co-funded services.
- Identify commercial risks early and propose practical solutions to mitigate them.
- Translate insights from pilot projects into actionable recommendations for scaling and improvement.
Growth & Usage (Monthly Active Users - MAUs)
- Lead initiatives aimed at increasing monthly active users and overall engagement.
- Drive growth efforts across multiple channels including SMS, voice, outbound calling, partner promotions, and offline outreach.
- Enhance outreach effectiveness by optimizing targeting, messaging, timing, and channel selection.
- Analyze performance data to generate insights that inform growth strategies.
- Design and manage focused experiments with clear hypotheses, budgets, metrics, and decision frameworks.
Execution & Internal Coordination
- Maintain execution trackers, weekly progress updates, decision logs, and risk flags to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Align internal teams and external partners on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare and lead partner working sessions with clear objectives and decision outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure initiatives align with overall business strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, commercial roles, growth, strategy and operations, consulting, or product-focused business functions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and create structured approaches to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working with numerical data and building straightforward financial or commercial models.
- Experience managing relationships with external stakeholders such as partners, clients, or vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and deliver results.
- Interest in technology, scaling businesses, and impact-driven growth.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of an innovative mobile service in Pakistan, working in a dynamic environment with senior leadership and external partners. Compensation ranges from PKR 200,000 to 300,000 per month, reflecting experience and expertise. The position is based onsite in Lahore.
