Patient Care Coordinator (Night Shift)

We are looking for dedicated Patient Outreach Coordinators to join our team for night shift operations. In this role, you will manage both inbound and outbound patient communications, assisting with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring smooth patient interactions and supporting the healthcare team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to phone calls and email inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel when necessary.
- Communicate with patients to schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collect, track, and accurately input patient medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Process patient health insurance details, including obtaining prior authorizations from insurance providers as required.
- Verify insurance benefits by contacting providers through phone, email, or fax to ensure coverage.
- Collaborate closely with internal office teams and healthcare providers to facilitate timely patient assistance and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and data security.

Required Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
- Proven problem-solving abilities to address patient concerns and administrative challenges.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) systems.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance plans.
- Previous experience working in a medical office environment or as a virtual receptionist.
- Competency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- Completion of A-Levels or Intermediate education is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience within the US healthcare industry is preferred.
- Experience working with US campaigns and exposure to US clients is essential for this role.
