Located in Lahore, this role focuses on supporting U.S. and Canada payroll operations for The Children's Place. The Payroll Analyst will manage payroll processing, auditing, and internal payroll procedures, including payroll tax activities and account reconciliations. This position ensures accurate and timely payroll runs while maintaining compliance with tax regulations and supporting payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

- Run biweekly and off-cycle payroll processing jobs for U.S. and Canada payrolls, performing validation steps to ensure accuracy, including payroll completion, settlement, and post-payroll third-party interface jobs.
- Enter payroll inputs such as earnings, deductions, benefits, and garnishments, and manage net pay processes including stop payments, ACH returns, and replacement checks.
- Review and audit tax and wage variances identified by the tax vendor, collaborate with account representatives to resolve issues, and determine if amended returns or payroll history corrections are necessary.
- Review all tax correspondence and take appropriate action by responding directly or forwarding notices to the tax vendor for resolution.
- Complete multiple worksite reporting and perform ongoing audits to verify the accuracy of employee taxable wages and withholdings on quarterly returns and annual W-2 reporting; process W-2 corrections as needed.
- Assist the Payroll Manager in compiling data for internal and external payroll tax audits.
- Support Payroll Manager with system configuration and upgrade testing.
- Prepare, review, and approve manual checks to ensure payment accuracy.
- Handle payroll history adjustments, gross-ups, file uploads, and related tasks.
- Collaborate with Payroll Management on year-end processes and special projects as required.
- Complete payroll tax adjustments related to restricted stock and non-qualified stock transactions.
- Conduct weekly audits of UKG/Kronos timecards.
- Respond to associate payroll inquiries through the HR ticketing system.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years of experience working with in-house HR/Payroll software applications, preferably Workday.
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-state (U.S.) and multi-province (Canada) payroll environment with multiple FEIN tax structures.
- Solid understanding of all components of gross-to-net payroll.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. payroll tax compliance laws.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of UKG/Kronos systems.
- Familiarity with BSI e-Forms.
