An organizational development enthusiast with around seven years of dynamic HR Business management experience within manufacturing, IT, and Pharmaceutical sectors. HR Strategy & OD: Liaise with Department Heads to develop and implement local human resource strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization\'s overall human resource strategy; receive guidelines from corporate HR / CEO for talent assessment programs; Assure that the talent assessment programs are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization; employee engagement functions; Ensure HR policies are implemented uniformly across the departments;
Recruitment & Selection: Discuss workforce planning mechanism for the BU with the team; Interact with department Heads to seek justification for the resource requirements keeping in mind the business needs of the organization; Monitor workforce plan from time to time; Liaise with head hunters to provide requirements of critical positions and follow up on their progress; Conduct interviews for grade 3 and above positions; Work with Departmental Heads to ensure right talent gets selected and that recruitment process is conducted efficiently and cost-effectively
C&B & Performance Management: Ensure Proper execution of guidelines from corporate HR on C&B and ensure; Supervise performance appraisal/management exercises and ensure timely execution; Initiate performance appraisal awareness exercise; Provide support and respond to queries on performance management system; Participate in extensive discussions carried out to analyze the promotions being awarded; Ensure internal equity is maintained; Initiate workload assessment/optimization exercises for DOL;
HR Operations: Discuss HR tactical and operational plans with corporate HR and acquire support if required; Provide general directions for operations (employee onboarding, probations, exits, retirals, etc.) and assure that operational matters are handled in a timely manner; Maintain effective Employee Relations and handle grievances & disciplinary issues; Maintain consistency in administering policies and procedures to ensure that employees receive appropriate treatment; Assure that proper procedure are followed under the labor law.
