* Manage the assigned shelter project and food storage tower project in order to meet the project objectives within budget and within the allotted time frame.

* Ensure that project services are delivered to most vulnerable population as described in project proposal.

* Ensure that gender, environment and DRR is integrated all across project interventions as explained in Project Document and Work plan.

* Provide strong leadership to the project, working to ensure both short and long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries.

* Ensure that effective mobilization strategies and plans are in place ensures communities participation in the entire project cycle.

* Develop high quality weekly, monthly and end of project report.

Staff Management:

* Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff, to ensure staff members are aware of project objectives and current work plans and to provide the opportunity for feedback.

* Provide coaching and technical supervision to staff in order to develop ownership and responsibility for the activities.

Communication and Coordination:

* Maintain appropriate, regular, transparent and supportive communication structures with the Country Office and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. beneficiaries, community leaders, local and national government officials, UN agencies and other NGOs), with the objective of ensuring good cooperation and partnerships.

* Participate in coordination meetings like Cluster meetings and other working groups or meetings as required, representing SIF

* Coordinate with Logistics, Admin, Finance and HR Department at SIF Country Office.

Quality Management/M&E:

* Ensure project is implemented in line with the proposals incorporating Gender, DRR and environmental aspects.

* Support in carrying out End Project Evaluation.

* Ensure maintenance of accurate and comprehensive data of the project in the line with indicators of proposals

* Construction of Water Ponds and Animal Reserviors

* Construction of Protection Walls

* Quality and Quantity control

* Identify schemes to implement according to the needs of each selected village

* Prepare a Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for each scheme in accordance with needs, budget and time frame

* Assist the Logistic department and the Village Committees on procurement of tools and materials related to schemes

* Cash for work activities on Irrigation Channels, Farm to market roads, RCC Culverts, Village Cleaning compaign, Desilting and lining of Water courses.

* Help and plan construction related Water and sanitation activities in the targeted villages.

* Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities (latrines and hand pumps) in collaboration with the skilled technician.

* Prepare the design and BOQ for construction facilities.

* Prepare regular reports on the progress of construction of the assigned sites.

* Monitor and supervise the contractors work including the work plans and quality of work.

* Ensure safety procedures and rules are respected in the field by all workers.

* Maintain good communication with beneficiaries and partner organizations in the field
