Group Manager Finance and Accounts
Recruited to lead finance and accounts department of newly incorporated group having subsidiary in Pakistan involved in the import of European clothing brands (QUIZ, Dorothy Perkins, Vero Moda, Jack and Jones Asics, Puma and Under Armour etc.) for sale in Pakistan across a range of outlets as well as on web portal. Main responsibilities included developing financial reporting mechanism of the group for internal use by higher management in Pakistan and England as well as for fulfilling statutory requirements, overseeing group’s finance requirements, and developing finance strategies considering the company\'s growth potential.
Key Contributions:
Ø Monitor cost of various components of imports e.g. purchase price, bank commission, insurance cost, duties, taxes, freight, holding cost, demurrages against budgeted costs, if exceeds take timely remedial actions and report to higher management.
