An Efficient Based Message System for Disable Person

<p><strong><span lang="EN-US">Telecare has always been an important technology since the personal emergency response systems have developed. The Personal Emergency Response system for the handicapped individuals ease the health and care management for the caregiver. It also enables an easy communication medium between the patient (transmitting side) and the caregiver (receiving side). The proposed Telecare system consists of the sensors, embedded controller and the alarming system which detects the patient’s requirements and alerts the caregiver via message and announcement. The proposed system also monitors the heartbeat and temperature of the patient in real time and generates the alarm in case of abnormal readings and reminds the schedule to caregiver for medicine. The Accelerometer is used to measure the tilt angle of the hand of the patient and the embedded controller processes the electrical signals in order to generate the alarm corresponding to the tilt angle. The RF Module is employed as a communication medium between the patient and the caregiver. The module sends and receives the message to and from the patient and caregiver remotely and wirelessly. In case of emergency a message will be sent through GSM module to the doctor as well as to the family member. The proposed system is an effective, reliable and low-cost solution for the handicapped individuals suffering from mobility impairment.</span></strong></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Keywords— Telecare, Accelerometer, GSM Module, RF Module</span></p>
