PROJECT: Emergency Response 2022
Responsibilities.
·         Provide technical support to WAP in development of new proposals. Concept notes for emergency flood 2022 response.
·         Review the concept notes, drawings, designs, BOQs of IPs and support team in finalization of projects in minimum time duration, in accordance with CHS, sphere and other standards.
·         Guide IPs technical staff and develop their capacities on protocol for WASH in emergencies, WASH in schools and healthcare facilities as per CHS, sphere standards and WHO guidelines.
·         Ensure that response quality is according to international standards of CHS, sphere, do not harm principles and that infrastructure established/ rehabilitated is inclusive for all genders, MHM, protection and not causing any environmental degradation.
·         Design WASH infrastructure schemes preferably using AutoCAD, review these in conjunction with the relevant government department (where needed/possible) and implement these on the grounds independently or through partner organizations.
·         Review existing global and humanitarian standards of Water and Sanitation infrastructure and develop guidelines where needed, that must reflect in the response.
·         Support implementing partners by providing input in project/ concept note design from a technical perspective.
·         Ensure proper implementation of WaterAid Pakistan, “Water Quality Policy” and “Health & Safety at Construction site policy” within projects and practiced by implementing partners as well as contractors.

•      Supervision and management of extensive Water Program with team of field engineers at 08 districts of Central Punjab.•      Verification of technical & social feasibilities, site selection and area water profile before installation of Water Projects at community level, Govt Schools and healthcare facilitates.•      Recommendation of water projects according to district water requirement and profile.•      Preparation of Drawings, Designs and BoQ for Multiple Type of Water Projects Like Solar Based Projects, Submersible Water Projects, Ultra Filtration Plants (UFT), Reverse Osmosis Plants (RO) , Gravity Flow Schemes and Hand Pumps Projects.,•      Monitoring and execution of Solar Based Projects, Submersible Water Projects, Ultra Filtration Plants (UFT), Reverse Osmosis Plants (RO) , Gravity Flow Schemes and Hand Pumps Projects.•      Ensure Smooth implementation, handing over of projects and submitting completion reports and MOVs to donors and Clients.

·         Develop guidelines and strategy for identification, prioritization, implementation and operation & maintenance of WASH activities at govt schools and healthcare facilities
·         Constructed 240 Nos toilet blocks and 150 handwashing facilities at KPK and Punjab
·         Making innovative designs for WASH interventions, technical feasibility, costing, execution of projects and quality control of cost-effective and sustainable WASH facilities in project area
·         Ensure regular technical monitoring of the WASH activities at DHQ, THQ, RHC and BHU level
·         Check the validity and consistency of the monitoring data and analyze the results
·         Coordination with MEAL team to ensure effective implementation and timely reporting.
Contribute to the overall process of knowledge management, within project by sharing and documenting success stories for dissemination
 

As a Sector Lead of DRR & Infrastructure ,Extend technical support to other sectors and community in conducting need assessment for identification and verification of selected drought/ flood damaged location for small, medium and large scale Risk Mitigation Projects and priority ranking of DRR/ WASH interventions.

· Prepare technical design, Bill of Quantity (BOQs), budget, tender and SOPs documents for all resilient infrastructure related activities

· Provide technical assistance to the DRR, WASH, MEAL and Livelihoods teams for the identification, prioritization and monitoring of the infrastructure activities

· To conduct trainings regarding operation and maintenance of infrastructure schemes for beneficiaries through coordination with CDMCs.

· Regular monitoring of ongoing construction activities to ensure that all the activities are implemented as per design, specifications, work schedule and also contributing to resilience.

· Keep close inter-sector coordination through mainstreaming DRR activities.

· Ensure storage and delivery of related materials, equipment, tools and consumables on work site and maintenance of proper records.

· Prepare work completion reports of the DRR schemes and submit to the supervisor for necessary verification, payment to the labor in a timely manner and compliance

· Working in harmony with all other project staff and field team for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the project in Sindh

· Prepare weekly, monthly work plans and progress reports.Technically review the tender documents before advertisement regarding quantities, specifications, units and other liabilities that are required from supplier as per the approved design of the project.
To check and maintain the quality of materials/supplies as per approved samples and quality performance standards.

Manage Construction of EPI Warehouse Project for Lahore,Gilgit and Skardu.Monitoring and Inspection of ongoing work for all warehouses projects. Ensure compliance
