This involves integrating data from well logs, core samples, and production tests. 4. **Reservoir Simulation**: Utilize reservoir simulation software to model fluid flow within the reservoir and predict reservoir performance under various scenarios. This helps in understanding how fluids move within the reservoir and aids in decision-making regarding well placement and production strategies. 5. **Exploratory Drilling**: Based on the findings from geological analysis, seismic interpretation, and reservoir characterization, identify prospective drilling locations and conduct exploratory drilling to confirm the presence of hydrocarbons.
