At CPPA-G, I (am):

Responsible for scrutinizing and receiving of invoices submitted by assigned Independent Power Producers (IPPs) at CPPA-G Data Exchange Portal (CDxP).
Responsible for verification and thereby processing of different types of invoices received from assigned IPPs. Once received verified data from Technical Department, I am responsible for verification of financial compliance aspect of claims, compliance with Power Purchase Agreement(s) [PPA], other statutory regulations and NEPRA instructions and guidelines before processing of invoice(s). Processing of invoices include various techniques such as analysis (of different types), vouching, reconciliations, verification, and recalculation.
Responsible for keeping/maintaining all record and data in soft and hard form of financial and compliance nature of all assigned IPPs for future reference and queries.
Responsible for initiating changes in PPAs, Tariffs, Rates and other changes in ERP to keep data up to date.
Responsible for assisting RO and SRO in: drafting and finalizing finance’s area of PPA(s) of upcoming IPP(s), proposing changes and amendments in existing PPA(s), drafting comments on Tariff Determination Petition(s) and Tariff Modification Petition(s) by IPPs to NEPRA and other correspondence(s) to relevant ministries and authorities.
Responsible for assisting RO and SRO in government audit coordination.
Responsible for initiating the verification and processing of Foreign Payment(s) of Miscellaneous Nature after thoroughly performing due diligence. This process involved vigilance and active correspondence with Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Ministry of Finance, Commercial Bank and State Bank of Pakistan.
Responsible for handling and resolving of miscellaneous queries raised both by internal and/or external stakeholders.
Maintain positive relationships with Independent Power Producers for smooth operations.
Coordinate government audit and proactively reconcile accounts and balances with IPPs, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal Department, Technical and IT, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
