With extensive experience in project management, event coordination, and resource mobilization, Ali currently serves as a Program Officer at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad. In this role, Umer Ali excels in managing international workshops, conferences, and training programs, while also overseeing technical cooperation and capacity-building initiatives.
Previously, Ali was an O Levels Chemistry and Science Teacher at ASAS International School, where he developed curricula, conducted lab experiments, and provided career counseling to students. As the Founder & CEO of The OGO, Ali spearheaded innovative organic poultry farming techniques and collaborated with farmers to enhance sustainable practices.
Umer Ali holds an M.Phil. in Environmental Sciences from Quaid-i-Azam University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from COMSATS University. Ali is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
