ASF is supporting survivors of acid attacks, giving them the confidence to become respected and useful members of society; lobbying for greater restrictions in the sale of acid, punishment of perpetrators, and social condemnation of this and other forms of violence. Interventions of ASF are to ensure survivors have the best available medical treatment, to offer legal support and advice to survivors and their families, to assist in the rehabilitation, education and training of survivors and to reduce and eventually eliminate acid attacks.
