As an Accounts Officer I was responsible for record
keeping of all company accounts, Budget
preparation. Review all the necessary documents to
avoid disputes. Look for areas to cut cost and profit
improvement. Maintain payments and receipts.
Ensure that all the bills are paid properly. Look after
monthly reports.
I worked as an internee in Askari Bank Limited. During my internship I was circularized in seven sections as follows: Account opening, Remittance ATM, Clearing, Accounts, Foreign trade, Credits In these sections I learned about cheques and deposit slips compliance with system record, maintaining accounts, Policies, recording of daily transactions, cheques and bills clearance, tracking exchange rates, ratio analysis, credit ratings and banking policies.
