Main Responsibilities

Ensure timely implementation of the project in their respective locations.
Review project progress with teams and prepare periodical project reports.
Develop and improve work coordination with local key partners (community, NGO, international bodies). Working closely with the Project Coordinator, the Area Coordinator will ensure successful implementation of the project activities.
Represent SC-Alliance in Education Working group at district level and participate in other educational forums.
Manage Community Mobilizers, Education Officers and work in close collaboration with the community and teachers for the roll-out of agreed project activities.
Assist in identification of capacity building needs of District education staff and provide training where ever relevant.
Provide necessary technical and organizational support to conduct trainings/ workshops/ seminars/ meetings, etc.
Provide monthly report of program activities to the senior management.
Work in coordination with the education department and facilitate communication.
Have the capacity to work on school structure, rehabilitation and construction.
Ensure effective, streamlined communication between education program and Logistics and other support staff.
Monitoring Evaluation of the project activities.
Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
