We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role requires close coordination with various departments such as Engineering, Projects, and Stores to meet organizational needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Process approved purchase requisitions and procurement requests accurately and promptly.
- Source potential suppliers and obtain competitive quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed comparative statements and conduct thorough commercial evaluations for informed decision-making.
- Coordinate internal approvals and facilitate the issuance of purchase orders.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders and monitor delivery commitments to avoid delays.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Projects, and Stores teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and inventory management.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement and supplier documentation to support audit and compliance needs.
- Monitor and track pending Requests for Quotations (RFQs), purchase orders (POs), and any delayed orders to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare regular procurement status updates and pending order reports for management review.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant procurement experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the construction or engineering sectors is highly desirable, as it will provide valuable insight into project-based procurement requirements.

Work Location

- This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work site.
