Superhuman AI is seeking an experienced Performance Marketer to lead paid acquisition efforts for the world’s largest AI newsletter, which reaches over 2 million readers and is read by 90% of the Fortune 1000 companies. This role offers the opportunity to manage significant ad budgets and develop creative strategies that drive subscriber growth in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Facebook and Google Ads campaigns, overseeing both platforms with hands-on execution.
- Develop and iterate on creative strategies, including crafting angles, hooks, and scripts to optimize ad performance.
- Scale subscriber acquisition while maintaining a strong focus on lead quality over just cost per lead (CPL).
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record beyond entry-level roles.
- Experience managing monthly ad budgets ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 within a single ad account; candidates should be prepared to provide exact figures.
- Proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms, with practical, hands-on campaign management skills.
- Exceptional copywriting ability, with the capacity to write compelling ad copy and demonstrate this skill through testing.
- Strong creative strategy skills, including maintaining a swipe file, writing scripts, and understanding the elements that make an ad successful.
- A focus on lead quality, ensuring campaigns attract high-value subscribers rather than just low-cost leads.
- Experience in the newsletter or media industry is considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy.
- You will work with real budgets and have the freedom to move quickly without micromanagement.
- Direct collaboration and hands-on training with senior leadership, gaining expertise in paid acquisition for newsletters, lead magnets, and large-scale creative testing.
- The role provides significant career growth potential, offering exposure that can accelerate your professional development by years.
This position is not suited for those who prefer a slow, comfortable pace or who want to simply oversee campaigns without hands-on involvement. It requires a marketer who is deeply engaged in execution, creative development, and strategic thinking. Candidates who rely solely on Ads Manager without a broader strategic perspective or those unable to write effective copy should reconsider applying.
To apply, please submit your resume along with one successful ad you wrote, explaining why it performed well, and your swipe file showcasing your creative resources. This will help us understand your approach and capabilities in performance marketing.
