This position requires strong bilingual skills in Persian/Farsi and English, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage quality workflows within remote teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Communicate regularly with trainers and QAs via Discord to share updates on guidelines, project changes, workflow adjustments, and quality expectations.
- Address questions from trainers and QAs promptly, especially regarding Persian/Farsi wording, register, translation accuracy, cultural context, right-to-left formatting, script conventions, terminology, and edge cases.
- Manage activation of trainers and QAs by reaching out to inactive contributors, encouraging engagement, tracking follow-ups, and reporting availability concerns when necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Persian/Farsi project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
- Organize and lead onboarding and training sessions to clarify project expectations, workflows, rubrics, quality standards, and language-specific style and script requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of Persian/Farsi language guidelines among all trainers and QAs, keeping the team aligned with evolving project updates.
- Identify recurring quality gaps and propose improvements to workflows, contributing to the development of scalable QA processes for Persian/Farsi projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Persian, Farsi, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Persian/Farsi with strong reading and writing skills.
- Strong command of English to accurately follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide clear feedback.
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in Persian/Farsi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- Deep understanding of Persian/Farsi grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, cultural context, script conventions, and right-to-left formatting.
- Familiarity with Iranian Persian/Farsi, formal versus conversational usage, literary versus modern registers, and relevant regional variations.
- Ability to assess Persian/Farsi content against detailed rubrics, identifying issues such as mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, incorrect tone or register, formatting errors, hallucinations, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation.
