We are seeking experienced Farsi/Persian interpreters to join our team on a per-minute basis. This fully remote opportunity offers flexible scheduling with options for both full-time and part-time roles. Successful candidates will be able to start immediately after completing onboarding and will be compensated monthly, either at a per-minute or fixed rate. The role requires a professional approach to interpreting, particularly within the healthcare and medical sectors, and involves ongoing internal training and close communication with team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally answer calls while adhering to the Interpreter’s code of conduct.
- Demonstrate familiarity with industry-specific terminology, especially in healthcare and medical fields.
- Participate in internal professional training sessions to maintain and improve interpreting skills.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with your team leader, providing necessary reports and updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English at a minimum of 90%, alongside native or bilingual fluency in Farsi/Persian.
- Access to a steady wired internet connection to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Use of a USB wired headset for clear audio communication.
- Operating system compatibility with Windows 10 or MacOS.
- Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- At least one year of interpreting experience is desirable but not mandatory.
