We are seeking a Planning & Forecasting Lead who thrives in a finance role focused on building strong business partnerships, expanding networks, and delivering significant value to both the organization and their career. This role involves leading the full monthly and annual planning and forecasting cycle for multiple markets or a strategically important market within the Planning & Forecasting Hub. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving progress toward business goals by producing high-quality, efficient, and globally aligned forecasts, plans, and analyses. These outputs will support confident management decisions, shareholder communications, and proactive identification of opportunities and risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the planning and forecasting (P&F) commitments across assigned markets, ensuring forecast reliability to support market guidance and effective resource allocation. This includes managing the P&F standard scope, agreed exceptions, and analysis requests.
- Lead reporting activities by owning P&L and Flash Sales performance commentaries, as well as Price-Volume analysis, ensuring clear explanations of variances versus Plan, Last Year, and forecast across markets.
- Drive the market forecast update process, incorporating new product launches, challenging and consolidating risks and opportunities, and presenting findings at management reviews.
- Lead annual planning activities by setting the plan calendar, securing submissions, and obtaining necessary sign-offs.
- Prioritize and resolve ad hoc business analysis requests, escalating trade-offs when capacity constraints arise.
- Partner with senior in-market and hub stakeholders to establish a realistic yet ambitious outlook, clearly articulating potential variances. Provide insightful intelligence on business performance drivers, anticipate risks, and propose interventions to meet targets.
- Challenge the business to produce forecasts that are both stretching and achievable.
- Foster accountability across markets by ensuring commitments are clear and delivered on time and in full.
- Navigate the cross-functional matrix to build a strong internal network, working closely with stakeholders as a reliable partner and effective customer of internal services.
- Coach and develop Planning & Forecasting analysts, enhancing modeling and analytical capabilities within the team regardless of direct reporting lines.
- Simplify processes and promote globally aligned ways of working, reducing non-standard tasks and continuously improving agility and efficiency in planning, budgeting, and forecasting through digital fluency and AI adoption.
- Build trustworthy relationships and exemplify a ONE Finance mindset.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience managing a full planning and forecasting cycle across multiple markets or a market of strategic importance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Experience in coaching or developing team members.
- Understanding of digital tools, AI, automation, and financial systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- University degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Ability to connect with and influence senior business stakeholders effectively.
- Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent experience.
- Opportunity to work at a leading global biopharma company committed to innovation in specialty medicines and vaccines.
- Join a purpose-driven organization focused on improving health outcomes for billions worldwide.
- Be part of a culture that values ambition for patients, accountability, and integrity, fostering an environment where employees can thrive and focus on impactful work.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a company dedicated to advancing science and technology to get ahead of disease, while developing your career in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
