Meds Nexus is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate PHD Specialist (Patient Service & Intake Associate) to join their team. This role involves managing patient registration, assisting callers with documentation requirements, and coordinating appointment scheduling for U.S.-based medical clinics. The position requires working night shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday, and is based in an in-person office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Support: Handle incoming patient phone inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
Intake Management: Collect and verify patient insurance information and personal details during the intake process, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Office Liaison: Communicate regularly with U.S. medical offices to coordinate scheduling updates, changes in location, and doctor availability to ensure seamless patient service.
Guidance & Navigation: Assist patients in understanding their initial paperwork and guide them through the appointment process to provide a smooth experience.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of customer service or support experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare settings.
Communication: Strong verbal English communication skills with a professional phone manner are essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and general computer software applications.
