PHP Developer

TechLeadz, a dynamic web and software development company based in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking skilled and motivated PHP Developers to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with custom PHP development, MVC frameworks, and CMS platforms, and be comfortable working with existing codebases to maintain and enhance applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom PHP applications using object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Work with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter to build scalable and efficient web solutions.
- Customize and extend PHP-based CMS platforms by modifying modules, themes, and functionalities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing code to identify and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Collaborate with the team to develop or modify application features according to project requirements.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases, write efficient queries, and manage data handling processes.
- Implement responsive front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js to enhance user interfaces.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to extend application capabilities.
- Use version control systems, preferably Git, to manage codebase changes effectively.
- Apply clean coding practices, ensure application security, and optimize performance.
- Manage tasks efficiently, organize work, and solve problems independently or within a small team.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written forms.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in PHP development with strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Proven expertise in custom PHP application development.
- Practical experience with at least one major MVC framework, preferably Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Familiarity with PHP-based CMS platforms and the ability to customize them.
- Solid understanding of MySQL database design and query optimization.
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience in developing or integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong grasp of software design principles, clean code, debugging, and security best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with the MEAN stack or Adobe ColdFusion will be considered an advantage.
