Physiotherapist

Kutiyana Memon Hospital is seeking a qualified, competent, and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join its Physiotherapy Department in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating physiotherapy treatment programs for patients with various physical impairments, injuries, disabilities, and post-surgical conditions. This full-time role involves delivering safe and effective rehabilitation services aimed at improving patients’ mobility, strength, balance, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical and functional assessments of patients.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
- Treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, pediatric, and geriatric conditions as applicable.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical requirements.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
- Deliver physiotherapy services to both inpatients and outpatients as assigned.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, mobility, home exercises, and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper and safe use of physiotherapy equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere to hospital policies, standard operating procedures, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
- Uphold patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Head of Physiotherapy or Hospital Administration.

Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university.
- Valid professional registration or certification, where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Two to five years of relevant hospital or clinical experience is preferred.
- Fresh DPT graduates with relevant clinical internship experience will also be considered.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles.
- Proficient clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with physiotherapy treatment techniques and rehabilitation protocols.

The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 63,000. This is an in-person role based in Karachi.
